H. Clif Gregory, O.D.
Dr. H. Clif Gregory was born, raised and educated here in Southeastern Kentucky. He attended Dewitt Elementary, Knox Central and Union College. He received his Doctorate from the University of Houston in 1993.
Dr. Gregory is very interested in all aspects of eye care and enjoys caring for his Pediatric, Glaucoma and Diabetic Retina patients. He remains interested in complicated contact lens fits and has been published three times on contact related issues and has also been a lecturer on contact lenses.
Clif's parents are Harold and Maxola Gregory. They retired from teaching at Dewitt Elementary School in 1996. He met his wife, Tracy, at the University of Houston College of Optometry while he was a student. She was the Assistant Director of Continuing Education at the college. They married in August, 1993. Together they opened Mountain Eye Care Center in 1994 on Knox Street. In 2001, they built the current Mountain Eye Care Center located on Old 25 E.
Dr. Gregory is a den leader in Cub Scout Pack 529. His wife, Tracy, is a den leader and also Cubmaster of Pack 529. They have three sons Jonathan, Ethan and Duncan that all attend GR Hampton Elementary School and are active in the Cubs Scouts and Boy Scouts. Their daughter Madalyn, who was Miss Kentucky Teen 2004, is a freshman at Georgetown College, majoring in elementary education and minoring in sociology.
